Here is my M.O.T faliure list. Please leave your thoughts (seriouse) as to what i should do. I aint strapped for cash at the moment as the money was going on a valver, but not any more.

I have around a grand.

Any way here you go.

Off side Front inner wing corroded.
Near Side AND Off Side Front inner arches holed
Near Side C.V gaitoy Split
Rear inner wings holed behind shockers

The above are all fails on the M.O.T, also the rear wheel bearings could not be checked as when the car is suspended the wheels are dragging on the inner wing for some reason.

ADVISORYS

Slight play in rack
Strut tops worn
Front Cross member corroded
Floor to sill both sides corroded
Rear inner sills corroded
Rear chasis corroded
Front Chasis corroded
Front inner wing Corroded
Front brake travel (borderline)

Thats the lot

I think its looking bleak.

Serioulsly what do you think would be my best option

It is a G plate GTE. I have spent shed loads on this car over the last year and half and would be gutted to see it go.

I'm going back down to a garage on Sunday to get a price on sorting it all. When i get a price i spose i'll have more of an idea of whats going on.

But what do you lot think i should do. I dont really have a garage that i could strip it in and re shell it.

I am going to ask the parents tonght see if they will let me have another car on the drive for about a week, then get it gutted and put all my stuff on to it. I doubt it thought X-(

hate to say it but thats worse than my MOT failure slip :O think your cars had its best days. u really wanna pay ?500+ and have a "pathcy" gte?

i spent loads on my sr as well and felt like smacking garage man when he said my car is more hoiler than the pope :O.

on a brighter note its time to begin a new project for the both of us :D

bodge it up with filler etc and get a dodgy mot on it

then sell it :D

you would be better to break that for spares and put the money to a better one :D i think colin smith has a few in the ?1000 area ...

yup ste is right
im sorry but the car is fucked
if u patch it up now then u will end up patching it again for next mot

and if u chuck a valver in there it will pull it apart.

Well i'm on the look out for a new Nova then. It'll be having my bumpers and interior and a 1.6 with twin 40's or the time being untill funds are recooperated.
