:?: Has anyone fitted 2 15" subs into their boot, leaving the back seat intact? If so are there any pics of it?
I just built a custom box to house 2 new 15" subs in my nova and there's not a lot of boot left. I wondered if there was a different way of arranging the speakers into the boot as I still have 2 12" subs and 600w amp left over.
The bit of the boot near the rear light inspection panels and about 200mm of the back of the boot is clear. I wondered about using fibreglass to use the space over the top of the shocks and down the side of the box for a 12" sub either side, the box measures 900 w x 430 h x 410 d, in order to get the box in the rear parcel shelf has to go and the shelf mounts on the body are to be removed for a custom shelf.
The box has just been finished so it'll get fitted in the morning and the rear shelf template will be made then aswell.
