Hey guys and gals,

I'm wondering if any of u know of this Nova? I sold it a couple of years ago to a lad in Bedford and am trying to trace it if possible!

It is (was) a 1.2i Merit + but as u can see from the pics it had a full (genuine and new!) GSi bodykit and stuff when i sold it:

When i sold it he was on about putting a Kingdon Kit on it (hope he didnt, spent ages gettin it lookin like it id which i loved!) but have any of u seen it since?

Reg was K*9 DMO so quite distinctive with only 6 characters!

Bought a 2.0 engine for it but at 18 couldn't insure it so sold up and bought a VTR, then a VTS-want the Nova back as a project now! :)

really tidy motor and looks better even just like that than any saxo iv ever seen IMO

I was on here a while back (like 2/3 years) but cant for life of me remember my username!

I def advertised the car on here thou!

Only reason i'm sellin the VTS is i'm bored-i dont keep cars longer than a year as a rule anyhow!

The Nova would be a 2nd track car-its a choice between that or an xr2, but i know what u guys will vote for! :D

So no one recognise the car then? :(

Yeah, i do like the wee XR2's, the one i've got my eye on is my mates. Its a 1988 E-reg with 90k on the clock, stood in the garage for 3 years now so might take that off his hands!

nice one mate looks clean beware tho i think the drainage holes for the sun roof get blocked easily and this can cause rust

Yeah there's a few spots, the mian ones being the strut tops and inner wings, fuel cap, rear window and sunroof (like u said) but they're all fine-its been dry stored in this garage for 3 years and was well look after before!

Just needs a dust rather than a wash!

The Kingdom kit fitted, i know this is a 1.2i and maybe the wheels have been changed colour? I also know its a K reg, I laos think the lad has owned it 2 years or so...

epo-yeah mate, it'll be a track car through and through so sunroof will be welded up, 6 point welded cage etc etc!

Paul-dont think thats the one! That has black door pillars which mine didnt, and mine had window tints which would be a strange thing to remove! Also, my number plate only had 6 characters and looking at how far across that "K" is i reckon thats a standard 7 character plate! Also, although the rims r the same model, they're 17s and mine were 15s.

Why dont you ask the DVLA if the car is still registered as being on the road? I'm not sure if they can give out that info tho. But there has to be some way of finding out where it is?
