is there a way to shorten a mp3? to say just play the first 20seconds of a song? then i can use them as ringtones and take up less space on my phone :D

get a proper phone that can hold large files then; mp3s are not big!

i think the nokia suite can record X ammount of time for the track, but that needs the original CD as opposed to an mp3 on a hdd.

umm i found a piece of software that converted wma -> mp3, cant remember the name of it. but it was awesome!

Thats true... lol my NEC e616 is new (ish) and thats the worst phone I've ever had!

Have a look on cNet (http://www.download.com), they're usually pretty good for stuff like that.

get Nero wave editor. Can change the length of an MP3, reduce it's quality (file size) change it's pitch, octave e.t.c

good program, might need a Cdkey tho....
