View Full Version : What next for Fester?

Fester has asked me top help him decide on what car he should get next. He has around ?7K to spend and has shortlisted his choice to the following (see list in poll).

Anyone with helpful 'buy another Nova and turn it into a Gsi replica with speelines' will be shunned. And possibly pelted.

PS i am the offical spokesperson on this matter, on Festers behalf. All matters relating this must be addressed to me, and not to Fester himself.

Depends on the audi a3, the 1.8sport is ok, the 1.8 turbo is really nice and the s3 is worth a wank... if he can get any of those, go for it....

The gold GTi's are pretty quick aswell...

I'd go for the Astra SRi turbo - infact I intend to when I get some wodge behind me - There's something about them that makes me prefer them to the GSi Turbo (I think it's the wheels and front bumper), stick the GSi leather in there and you've got one awesome factory car in my opinion.

for 7k he could pick up a pretty good delta, they can't be bad. after all they won 25 rally championships. and were banned.

btw i am purposely posting old-school cars. because

1 - i like them
2 - it's the opposite to the poll = useful.

I voted the Astra, as the Mk4 golf is terrible. The A3 is just a mk4 golf, so crap too, lol

Has to be relatively new too, as fester has this wierd image problem. lol

Fester

There are a few delta places around + fiat service/ carry spares for them at a reasonable price. just none up-north fester. They are viable if you live down south.

ultimate cars tho.

e30's are good. If not, the later BMW M3's are good. Theres a fantastic one where i work, the best example you could see. on 1 way system, past waterstones fester.

+ i think she's selling it to buy a delorian (apparently it wont rust .. lmfao)

Philsutton
15-12-04, 06:06 PM
also the one in the picture is on ebay at about 4000 with not long to go, will probably shoot right up though as it looks a good one as well

http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/46018/

this one has 1000bhp without nos, 1/4mile in 8 secs

sorry for the off topicness

Nick
15-12-04, 06:11 PM
it will go up (probably very likely)

it has SS badge on it, if it is an SS (and in fantastic condition as it looks)it's worth alot more than 4k. getting on 12-13k prehaps.

yep, sorry for off the topic.....

by the way fester, i'd say one of the astra's if it's down to those 3.
