270bhp rear engined Nova. Anyone know of it? (13.3 1/4 mile)

The guy chip bought it off was the guy who tucked up lindsey(big boys toyz) for the tune of nearly 2k. :x
Still see lindsey a fair bit,the only nova he still does fabrication work on is the isaac hunt car as him and ade are big mates from years ago.

No he bought it off roberto, the kid who ripped lindsey off and indirectly finished big boys toys :evil:

Just out of intrest can you share the story as there was a lot of people annoyed as to why Big Boys closed down.

As it goes rob used to go to lindseys a lot as did all of us and at the time he was building a v6 mid engined mattig extreme nova (which was better worked out than the 16v car) :o rob seen this and thought it was cool.

Six months later rob wrote his 2.0 nova off and set to work in lindseys garage with lindseys help, tools, parts, and money to build his own mid engined nova.
Lindsey and rob fell out after six months of the development as that rob kid was taking everything for granted and most of lindseys stock. :(

That car was lindseys way into establishing himself as a competent name in vauxhall fabrication and john walsh(max power) at the time was phoning him every other day to ask about progress on the car.
In the end lindsey had nothing to show for it and closed the shop down and returned to the trade he wanted to get out of.
He's still about but the only car he will work on outside of hours is ade's nova as i said before they are best mates from back in the day.
I think lindseys trouble is he's just too much of nice guy,pity really cos he did some good cars!
