ECU (ford, sorry)

Ive got a 1.6 zetec escort. im putting on a throttle body from a 2.0l zetec as its apparently a straight swap and have been offered the ecu as well. any ideas if this would work and if there would be any gains? Or any one know a good ford group? cheers, jon

tbh i wouldnt bother with the ecu as its just going to make it overfuel like a bitch. or its just going to really badly ie crap transient driving

i design ecu's for ford (amongst others) and the cal file in the ecus even varies from car to car, let alone engine size etc.

yes bigger TB, but wouldnt bother with the ecu
maybe get your ecu reflashed etc.
