Keep us posted how you get the brakets made up for these Rick, would you consider selling a set of mounting brackets?

And that 'Mercury' optical mouse is worth about a fiver - that's how much mine cost me anyway!!
Fecking mouse wheel is buggered now though - when you scroll up or down it has a fit a tells you what way it wants to scroll - it'll be hitting the bin very very soon!!

how much were the calipers?

i traded in a set of them in to CP for tools lol

a fly off handbrake like chris has will be the setup in my opinion. or just leave a brick on the brake pedal lmao

Seems an easy option the fly of handbrake.
was much easier doing it this way than trying to butcher int he normal one. Especially means i picked it up for ?60

Awesome motor tho mate. what more can you say!

i have been told by many mot testers that the handbrake has to be mechanically operated (ie has a cable to the rear brakes) to pass mot. so a fly off hydraulic one will not pass

just find a "rally" friendly mot place

some places will pass anh auto with a ropey handbrake as they dont need to be used etc. so there will be places that let hydraulic handbrakes go through

Will that disc fit onto where the old disc does on the cavalier? Meaning thats basically a much bigger cav/astra rear disc? So it will retain the old handbrake mec?

They will fit on the Cav gsi rear hub setup but will require new brackets been made up to fit the calipers to the hubs and some other mods. The bells look like the standard hand brake setup has been used and its only ever used when parked so wear shud not be a issue.
