Put a GSI fuel tank onto a 1.2 merit
All connected fine

Was wandering how u lot attach the fuel pipes to the underneath of the car.
Dont really want to stick bolts through the floor.

The lines are normally held in by a plastic clip thing aren't they.
Not too sure how that attaches to the floor though.

On the GSi there are studs for the clips to screw on to but on the merit theres those crappy metal things that you bend around the pipes.

my 1.2 antibies "had" those screw studs for the fuel lines.

screw a w type plastic clip on to it and then pop the fuel lines in

im running my fuel line in the car though

Done now, i used the 1.2 stuff.
It was just that seeings as the GSI had the rubber mounts i presumed this was for a reason. Something due to the fact that it had metal pipes and it made sense to therefore use the rubbers to mount it to the 1.2

Nevertheless ive used the standard 1.2 fittings and it seems fine.
Thanku all
