i understand what you lot are saying about Max power dropping in standards but it hasnt dropped it has just changed its audience. Dont get me wrong everyone wants huge power but not many young people can afford it, therefore they want to stand out in a different way and that is by modifying the bodywork. I know that there are alot of crap cars out there (mine!!! according to most) but that is what is big at the moment.

(sorry if i upset anyone but ive wanted to make this point for ages)

its not the big power thats the draw its the time and effort/engineering thats gone into a worthwhile cause, yeah it takes sum doing to fit 30 12" subs into a saxo with 15 tv's but reli y bother? in the same way it takes alot of knowledge to put a 4x4 system and a cos lump in a pug - sum may still say y bother but its lighter and maybe faster than its donor so there was some point in doin it - mods are supposed to make the car better, not utterly fuck up the way it was designed to work, i.e lambo doors that make it stupidly impossible to enter/exit the car.....why?

however i love low-riders and some ice cars which are done properly. most are slow as fuck but the engineering is great and they look the nuts.

but then if u like a car and someone else doesnt who cares? its ure opinion.
