bought my car bout 5mths ago,from a place where all the cars get sold locally.
paid good cash(500 quid) for it and thought i was da dogs danglies!!!!!!!
it had tax n mot till end of nov,so i checked it over-obviously not enuff,and off i went!!!
NOW,my dilema is that he had sent log book off 2 have his name on it as he had only bought it 2 run about whulst his rova 800 turb,was havin a rebuild,so only had it a mth b4 sellin it 2 me and promised 2 forward logbook 2 my dad(had 2 register in his name as ive got major points,no ncd)!!!!!!!
mot came other wk and it failed badly on rusted chassis,brake discs worn,and a few other things,aswell as having fecked arches-good paint work,shit filler!!!!!
i need 2 get rid of it now andstill havent had log book!!!!!!
how do i scrap it LEGALLY???????
IVE dismantled stuff like wings ,glass,bumper,bonnet etc so by the time im done,itll just be a shell ready 2 get weighed in!!!!!!!
WOT DO I DO,AS MY DADS BEING A KUNT AND IS PERMANANTLY ON MY BACK!!!!!!!!

Borrow a JCB and squash the shell to a very small lump, that way you can attach it to your keys. Or put it in the town dump in scrap metal part

So you haven't had the logbook back from dvla, can't you just request a new one from them, and then just inform them its been scrapped. I think they cost about ?18.
