Thanks to Stu and Cp again for last weekend.
Finally started some work on the new shell.
Dan had been round the previous week to help fit the engine and gearbox. So with all that sat in the bay Cp came along with is trailer to take my car to is workshop.

Arrived there mid day saturday. First job was rig up the fuel tank which didnt take us long. Fitted the new braided fuel hose that now runs inside the car. Done away with the old regulator and opted for a filter king regulator/filter. Cp got the gear ahifter re aligned and also manafactured a new pin to cut out any slackness in the straight through linkage. Also got the hydraulic handbrake set in place awaiting the new copper piping to it.Should make for a bit of sideways fun!

Stu (Cambridge) started work on the new loom. And what a spanking job he did. Created a mint new loom complete with all the extra bits if i ever decide to go throttle boddies.(job well done mate)

Alluminum door cards and rear quarter cards are coming out as there will be no interior panels.

Mainly left to sort out is the wiring up of the starter/alternator ect. Fitment of the polycarb windows and installing the new brake lines throughout the car. Everything after that is cosmetic mainly. Altho part of this has already been planned and the rest will be finished after xmas .

Anyhow ill try and get some pics up soon of how its looking.
But thanks again Cp /Stu /Dan/

Erm its not the weight issue.
The body panels are sprayed white behind the alluminium panels. Plus the door panels have holes for the winders. So just makes sense to get rid of em.
And in any case new ones can be cut and riveted if need be!

But fun it hasnt been !! lol Me bastard fingers have sufferd!
The professor has memory loss and stu is now suffering from sleeping disorder! lmfao!
