I have a SEAT splitter for my car and noticed that half of it has plastic behind it and half doesn't (if ya get me :? ).
Jus wondered if i could chop the plastic off leaving the little vertical bits?
What have you done?
Cheers
what seat splitter have you got mate because the splitter i have on my car is from a ibiza and its all plastic so i didn't have to cut anything apart from the edges. i think you might have a splitter from a toledo by the sound of it

no hes got an ibiza one - he means the slats in the middle, i just left mine mate, couldnt be arsed to cut em out, its personal choice really just adds a bit of strength
oh right i couldn't be arsed cutting those vents out, that would weaken the splitter any way
i've not cut mine out, think it looks better imo
taking mine off soon though, changing it for a laguna one :)

you'll find it hard to find a laguna one!
lagunas dont even have them any more as every other fuckers robbed them!
neils got one on his pulsar
but he wont let me steal it
you can buy them from the dealership
but they are meant to be stupidly expensive!
the're about ?50, but my mates got one, im havin off him :D
they are very expensive from the dealership, there are always other splitters you can use
found my splitter at the side of the road. Great!!!

Sorry to invade your thread mate. I was also thinking about getting one of these put on mine car. I would properly put it onto a standard 1.2 front bumper. Does it need any cutting to get the lenght right?
they're not too hard to fit, just need to shorten the end cos it sticks out past the bumper and just use self tappers to screw it in place
