Over the past few weeks me and a mate have been re-trimming the Calibra Leather around nova frames...

I thought i'd give all you lot a step by step guide of how to re-trim the leather...

You'll need...

 Calibra Front and Rear Seats
 60-40 Rear Nova Seats
 Whole Nova Rear Bench as per lower nova models
 Garden Wire or similar

First thing we did was remove the calibra metal backs of the seats, easy enough to do with a small screw driver...

Then take apart the nova rear 60-40 seats, the only problem with putting the leather around the nova frame is that you have to cut the sponge down to fit...we did this using a bread knife  then once you have the leather to the right size, use the clamping bits around the edge of the leather...seen here, the black bead around the edge......

http://img106.exs.cx/img106/1959/l3oretrimrear2.jpg

Then pull the actual rear felt/material, and clamp it in to the rear of the seat using some screws and washers, basically keeps the top of the seat looking tight, rather than saggy, also seen in the above picture...

Repeat for the other side...

the 60 part of the 60/40 split you don't acutally have to cut it down at all, the only problem comes when pressing the button to release the seat, i have stuck the button in place, and made a botch so u have to pull the seat down from inside the boot, basically the only real problem we overcame...

The rear bench...

Here you Have to get a merit style singular rear bench, as it needs to be whole like the calibra seat...remove the frame from the calibra seat and place the nova frame on top, then using the bead around the edge of the leather use garden wire or such and pull really tight in order to get a tight finish on top....as below.

Thats basically it, for the front remove all calibra subframe and weld on the nova ones, easy enough...

And here is the rear leather all re trimmed around nova fitments......

I'm aware its not perfect, but its never going to be for a DIY job  I'm well proud at the results, and will be a fairly unique thing in a nova having calibra leather

ummm its impossible to do without welding i'm afraid...

I dunno maybe a universal subframe like u get on bucket seats...but u'd be sat up in the air quite a bit
