Driveshafts (Again)

Sorry for boring you to death with another driveshaft question!

So i have the Astra driveshafts but unsure of outer shafts i need. I picked up a lump box etc which supposedly came out of a XE'd SR but i have my doubts.

Could i use SR outers with the Astra inners or would they need to be Gsi ones. The engine & box have shafts still attached and the other 2 shafts i have been supplied with look like Astra ones aswell! Also the engine mounts look like original Astra ones too with the chap saying the bonnet was modded so the engine wouldn't need lowering.

Any help would be good as i am very confused!!

u need nova gte 22 spline shafts with std gte outers and mark 2 cavalier 1.6 inner CV joints

i thaught they swapped and changed between opel and saginaw for all the GTE/GSi/TD shafts

as ive heard of folk using gsi and TD shafts too

Off the top of my head, have broke over 30 GSi's and not 1 has had 22 spline shafts.

Have broke about 10 GTE's and the only ones to ever have 22 splines are the 88/89 ones, not denying there are random odd one they had left in the factory but they are not fitted to a specific batch etc.
