right thanks to mr baxter i will soon own an xe for my blue car of my friend chris
butthe prob i have is with the engine mounts baxter has got the g/box one but his drivers side mount was cut and lowered to fit the xe
my shell is not like this so i need the conversion one , i have found this on valvers.com
http://www.valvers.com/images/_20xeletmount.jpg
is this what i need and are they a good place to order from
ant sugestions where else to go or has anyone got a spare one
One of my novas was built by the Griffin centre, the engine mount has been lowered and angled so it takes a one off mount. If the mount has just been dropped by 1.5" then I think you just use the original nova mount. If its like mine then you want to ask Brian from valvers.com for one of his mounts without the holes drilled in it to connect to the mount and drill your own.
I'll take some pics of my engine bay to compare with yours if you like
I went to cossvaux and got a set of 2ltr mounts that fit both the 8v and 16v, cost ?65 and i got drivers and spacer for the gearbox one.

you better love me all night long,
just got some new inlet manifold and zorst manfold gaskets for you
if your having a 2.0l then u really need to seam weld the engine bay and if you need that doing then its not a great deal more hassle to lower the engine mount 35m or so
