If I remember correctly you are not that far avay with your rover V6 turbo engine! :lol: :lol: :lol: Would rpobably beat it as well! :twisted: 8)

hmm i doubt it will beat it, im only looking at getting low 14s on the 1/4 mile on its first runs before ive set it up right. It wont be a turbo maybe have a supercharge further on in its life but that going to cost silly money. An its not near done yet, bout another year maybe :D

rover V8 was designed and first manufactured by buick, the only difference once leyland/rover/whoever they were at the time is they changed how the block was cast (even that was with buicks help)

and on this note does anyone know if a rover v8 has a flat plane crank. Im thinking of ideas for my final year at uni and it sounds like fun to try and convert one. And they tested that car in topgear and it wasnt phenominally (spelling?) quick for waht it is. 5 litre v8. 385 bhp, 1,500kg, 375lb/ft torque and a power to weight ratio of 210bhp/tonne. 0-62 in 5.1 with 175 top speed. could do a lot better for 85 odd grand but it does look nice!!

if any answer is yes then ok you could state that you dislike them but you cant hate them unless one has taken you roughly up the arse!

the SV looks cool as fcuk, it kinda looks like a cat lol but less floppy.

rover/mg/kia are making a nice little comeback for themselves after bmw screwed them over, although bmw didnt get all they wanted from rover lmao they wanted landrover and didnt realise that ford bought them a few years before bmw tried, german efficiency my ass

4.6 litre V8
320 bhp
0-60 5.3 secs.

not bad for bottom of the range spec (?65,000 :o lol)

with all optional extras can get them upto 1000bhp (on NOS) out of the factory. That costs bucks though :D
