...how do you remove the outer door trim(the bit in the middle of the door) any help?

no, the piece of plastic that runns down the outside of the door(to stop other car doors dinting the paintwork i think).

yeah, thought i moght have to :( hate t-cuttin, car was in so much of a state when i got it that it took me 5-solid-hours to t-cut it:( ah well, i got all weekend.

actually id recomend boiling water it removes it well easy

boiling water works really well, i used that method when removing the bump strips from my old VW Polo

cheers, i'll give the water a go, ant got a heat gun anyway, was going to borrow one.
i'll let you know how it goes.
