splx gd or not??????

hiyo everyone

just wonderin are SPLX good or not????

i was think of havin the big 1000watt heavy duty splx sub (the black one not the white 700watt one) that cost sutten like 100 quid

then i am havin 4 jbl 6by9s in on the back parcey shelf (spelling?)

(note the 6by9s will be protected because i am buildin a special box so the sub wont interfer with them)

and a 1000watt SPLX amp bridged to power the sub

i have a 500w 15" sub and it sum serious bass i have a sound chek at klm in wigan and that with 2 sony explode 220w 6x9's it measured 133.4 db and the winner was 145.6 db and that was a dear as f**k system with a sh** load more speaker in and three amps

and mine was was no where near last the loser was measured at 127.4db and it was a fitted system with more speakers. its all about the right sized box for the speaker the best for a nova is a couple of 12" subs with about for 6x9's and u should be kickin a*s aslong as the boxes are the right size.

SPLX Stuff ain't terable but there's alot better for your money if you look at some of the American stuff!!!

am not particurly a big fan i prefer the more expensive stuff

yeah well i was thinkin just gettin the one 12inch 1000watt sub & amp because i dont want a s**t heavy system for a little 1.2l

and also do u think i should junk the back sits and make a custom install in the back sits and will it make a diffence in performance?!?!? :D

wen i had ma fez i had 1000 w amp and a 12" sub only cost 150 squid n put it this way i got pulled over for noise pollution and in the end i had the lot robbed coz i drove int a car park with it all blairin out, good tip there dont leave your ice boomin whilst parkin turn it off 500 yrds b4 u park especially in stockport!!

alright mate splx are crap my mate had a 500 watt one in his citreon ax and it sounded the bollks for bout 4 munths then it blew up and ended up buyin a jbl 1000watt sub,400 watt jbl amp and box for ?140 from motorworld!! neway ope u get it sortin m8!! JBL ARE MINT!!!!

For the price of them, I can't fault they Sony Xplod pentagon subs. Sound far better than similar priced JBL rubbish.
