affraid not, the heads on the 1.4 is different to the 1.6 so the ports wont match the manifold properly 8)

its an sri not an sr, the heads basically the same as a gsi...

its got an mpi head

all 8v exhaust ports are the same

and further to that the SRi and GTE have the same downpipe and manifold shape so are totally interchangeable

sr have different shape but u can still fit a GTE system on an SR if u wish as long as u use all of it

the 1 litre ports are completly different, siemesed!!! the shape it the same on the others i think (On the exhaust side) but the dimentions are different i thought? might be wrong on that, deffo different on the inlet side tho...

it has lamba sensor.....

so it will need an sri/late gsi one

or will need a normal 4-1 modding

have a look at mine at the meet tonight, i've welded in a lamba boss where the 4-1 meet is

another question.......

will a GTE (pre-cat) Manifold-Middle Section and middle silencer fit to a 1.2 back box?

I.e. are GTE/1.2/1.3 back box's interchangable?

on the epc i think they have different part numbers but.....

Ste_Nova

yup all standard backboxes are interchangable.... but mk1 ones will catch on mk2 bumpers

right. thanks.
I'm asking this because i'm thinking of getting a Lexmaul Manifold and they only do em for GTE/GSI.

So i'd need a new middle section, but i can keep my back box which is cool.
cheers.

to clarify all the OHC small block vaux engines have the same exhaust ports

the 1.0 isnt even a crossflow engine and the exhaust manifold is on the wrong side - would have to be a pretty thick person who tried to fit a ohc exhaust manifold onto one of those engines
