I forgot to add this in the last post, I was lookig on ebay for twin 40's, some where Dellortos, and some where webers, some said DCOE twin 40's and some said DHLA twin 40's, whats the difference and whats better?

Also can I buy any twin 40's off of any car, ford etc, and change the maifold to fit my GTE?

the full names of the two Major Twin carb's are:

1. Weber DCOE Twin 40 (45, 48 etc)

2. Dellorto DHLA Twin 40 (45, 48 etc)

Dellorto's are newer and are based on the weber's. They have a better fuel circuit design but there isn't really any noticable improment on power or performance.

Weber's are more common but dellorto's are just as good.

Just get hold of a GTE manifold and you can fit any old set of Weber or Dellorto 40's to it really.
