I am not sure what to do.

I was considering putting H3 NOV on the new project but considering it is not a Nova is it worth it? I was thinking I could try and put it on every car I own as its my plate and wait for the "why have you got that on your car, is your birthday 3rd November?" type conversations when i have it on the Porsche in years to come.

Bareing in mind it has just cost ?105 to move it and will do every car i put it on, do you think I should sell it?

Cheers

Al

Well mate as evreyone els took it so way OFF TOPIC!

I my self would think as it's your's already, you have to think is it worth you selling,as if you wish to perchase another one it will more then likely coast a lot more in the future, plus do you think you are going to have a car older then H plate again???

No point in putting it on anything other than a Nova, it'll just seem as though your initials are N.O.V.

Now im just asking,is this cus you sent your foarm off telling them the car had been broken, before you decided to think about keeping the plate???

If so same thing happenf with my gte astra i scraped, though ah migh keep the plate,il call dvla.. they said no cam do you should of told us before scraping, also the car needs a vailed mot and tax to qulify for you retaining plate a cherished,so now it go's back inot there date system for them to sell on at a silly price..humm not fair really..

No they need to inspect the VIN number. The DVLA told me, after I explained the situation that the car is a shell and immobile, that they would send an inspector out just to varify the VIN. I rang the DVLA local office to arrange said inspection and the women has told me NO, point black that that is not acceptable. They could of at least informed me correctly before hand so I may have thought differently how to go about keeping the plate.

They still took the ?25 'admin' charge and cashed the other ?80. I am still waiting for my V5 to come back, along with the valid MOT and the return of ?80!
