View Full Version : 5 min Single wiper conversion

Its like blue peter this :lol:
Parts u'll need;
Uno motor
Porsche (i think 911 turbo the one with twin/single wiper) wiper arm and blade

Bolt the motor in place of the standard middle wiper using the hole in the scuttle, cable tie through slats for extra strength (wouldn't want to bodge it now would we :D )
Connect the novas yellow feed wire to one of the uno-motors wire (don't know what colour i did it in the dark at 9.30 last nite, lol)
Earth out one of the other uno wires (again not sure which one)
And thats it a full sweep of the screen and it parks out of the way at the base of the screen!
I know this wasn't a very technical guide, i'll give more details when i can see exactly what i've done!!!

uno motor, not a porsche

as for the wiper arm, you should be able to use a early 306 rear wiper

why not just adjust the novas t piece to make your own, non bodged job

cos i don't have a bulkhead to mount the standard motor on!!

me and bruce used a fiesta mk4 bracket and some steel + welder to make a new mounting for the std nova motor after we removed the bulkhead

i guess u could use the original nova parts too
