they are made in Japan by a company called toyota :lol:

Nope, same engine, same chassis, 106 has slight suspension changes to make it less 'twitchy' on the limit.
my 1.0 nova wastes all saxo's vts included its well fast man :P :lol: :lol: :lol:

celicas are mmmmmmmmmmm
very very fast, and handle like they are on rails. i was very impressed when i drove one.
can be pricey to repair as some are grey imports and some of the stuff is a bit specialist

I heard the name Celica came from a japanese engineer ...
He was heard to have muttered " this car - velly SILLY CAR ".....
and hence the name stuck.
