1.4sr went pop! then died

well driving home last nite from a lil cruise and my nova decides 2 pop from the zaust and just die

the only thing i can think of y is cos of the timing i took the dizzy cap off and the rotor arm can spin with my hand this isnt rite isit?

am i on the rite tracks do u think?

Definetly on the right track, sounds like you just need a new rotor arm.
Cant see it being anything else. When u try start it, does the camshaft turn?

carry a spare.... i snapped mine while doing burn out in stoke :lol:
