where can i find it on the gearbox??

how can i tell what it is

you can find the box type stamped on the casing ontop of the diff housing, behind the gear selector.

and the gear box number is stamped lightly on the end plate. you can see it if you look at the box from in the wheel arch.

you will need a wire brush to find it.

yeah as they said, its very lightly stamped. On the bottom left of the cover plate

if you just want to know what gearbox it is then it should tell you under the gear selector in big chunky numbers/letters

are those numbers gospel on the gearbox?

saw one the other day with a 429 as the ratio, it was an F10
