i can't get my nova gte to start, it has a spark, and turns over but won't fire, and it's definatly got fuel in it. i've only had a quick look cause it get's dark too early, just want to know what to look for next time i get chance. how do i check if the fuel pump is working? and that the injectors are firing?

cheers

ben.

might be the relay or the pump, put a test lamp or volt meter over the pump and try to start

that will give u an idea whats happening

It will be the relay, if its a fuel issue.
Pumps are usually bulletproof, unless they seize!

But you would have needed to leave it for a few years for that! lol

I have a GTE with shorts, earth problems, in fact every bloody electrical problem under the sun!

Going to put a carb on it tonight! F***ing injection systems and electric crap.

I had power drains from everywhere, and possibly a short in instuments/inferior light/ciggy lighter circuit. Also earths are fine with no ign, and up to around 2ohms with ign on up to 9ohms when cranking, that's why mine won't run anyways.
