hi ya ive dun the mod its worked i move the holes over about 7-8 mm each side then i went ad had the chamber checked and it was fine the only problem is now ive dun it my strut brace dont extend out enough
i was more interested about the hub carrier to be honest , where the shock bolts to
as this is where the haynes says you shoukd adjust it be elongating one of the holes , but which one top or bottom i presume bottom but need some pics to be on safe side lol :D
you'd elongate the top hole.
ill see if i can get some bolts and do a rapid guide to camber adjustment at the weekend
do you want a nova to try it out on? and a do to a photo guide?

as for "adjusting the tca's" its not a simple mod unless you like cutting corners.
carl just sell your ass for an hour and get ?30 and buy a set of Magic Camber bolts from demond tweeks, take a whole 5 mins to fit and you can always remove them!
Ive fitted the and they work a treat, no tyre wear what so ever!
DO that, its ur best and easiest option!

people who are thinking of buying camber bolts form tweeks or anywhere, hold on till monday and await the results of my testing with benjis car on sunday
i may have a cunning plan for nicely adjustable camber
they will be ?20 inc P&P a set (if they work)

as i said before. i don't think Tweeks' camber bolts will work as they only go up to 17mm whereas Nova's are definatly 19mm.
stu had the wrong bolt's, but it will be sorted

Na thast the spanner size not the bolt size!!! they would be BIG BASTARD BOLTS!!!

When i phoned up i did ask for ones for a Corsa GSI, someone off here told me too, but cant remember it there was a choice or not. mine fit fine!

whats the spanner size?
Nova bolts need a 19mm spanner to undo them.
So are tweeks' measurments the size of the actual bolt? or spanner?

the sizes that you are saying are the spanners that you will need, i think they are an M12 bolt that DT are selling, i've never heard of a M17 bolt!!!
well i have sorta its a 11/16 UNF or UNC and it isnt one of those cos it would be far to big, you need a smaller diameter bolt than the standard nova one.

i'd guess the camber bolts would have a cam on them the same size as the original bolt and the actual shank to be smaller and offset on the cam section to provide the required adjustment??

exactly what i was going to say. so you could turn the bolt/cam to adjust the camber.
bruce
nearly what i had in mind, but i shall be contacting my supplier as he gave me the wrong ones the fcuk lol

like these
http://www.camskill.co.uk/smsimg/11/512scooby_camberbolts.jpg
they are '14mm camber bolts' Which mean you need a 14mm spanner to do them up i guess. (not the actual bolt is 14mm thick).
So Demon Tweek's camber bolts are absolutely useless on a Nova because they are not big enough. (only go up to 17mm).
OR
Pay ?85 (rip off) pounds for these bolts from Regal that look like a toddlers thrown them together.

The problem with those camber correction bolts is that once they are fitted & you have no angle on your wheels, the tracking is thrown out quite a lot (depending how low your car is). I tried them about 3 years ago - ABP motorsport had a go at fitting them. Once on the car my front wheels were pointing in opposite directions & my track rod ends didn't have enough lenghth on them to correct it. Oh & my wheels were pushed out past the arch too & would have rubbed big time!!
If your car is lower than 35mm I wouldn't bother - try & adjust the TCA's as Ste said, this won't cause as many problems.

those bolts are adjustable. you don't put the cam all the way out to push the tops of wheels out. You can turn them slightly round so it does it gradually i think, until you get the required amount of camber.
