just looked and a diesel alternator is ?173 +vat. (f**king hell)lol

starter ?70.50 +vat.

do you know anyone that works at vauxhall? You could get parts cheaper through trade club

proberly best to get one from a scrap yard mate

ello where did u get the prices from..

regards the diesel alternator - it produces a higher charge (cant remember the exact figur but it is 20 amps more then a std one)

so if you do fit this be sure to fit a diesel battery too or you will just fry your normal one :o
