Will be fitting a 1.6 block onto my current gearbox. I'll be using the clutch assembly that's attached to to the 1.6. Will I need a clutch alignment tool?

Also, I've read the Haynes forward and backwards beforehand. Even so are there any little tips to make things easier?

pretty straightforward mate

Clutch alignement tools are handy you can them for few quid from motor factors etc etc but to be honest its possible to do it without.

Personally if you havent done one before, i dunno maybe you have have, but go get one to be on safe side :)

I've never had to use one, they're handing of your working with the engine still tine car, btu with it out, just hold the clutch plate in position and tighten the pressure plate over it with it centred.

Need a F13 box for the flywheel to fit in.

Not a chance of using smaller fly on 1.6 block either, starter will be miles off.

Use a F13 box. (and the alignment tool, if you have it use it!)
