Noisy heater blower motor

My heater blower motor is sometimes noisy on positions 1 and 2, kind of a bearing noise. I sit possible to fix or would it be best to just get another one in which case are Mk1 and Mk2 motor the same?

just get another one mate, thats what im gonna do, so annoying when it squeeks, really noise outside the car too. I guess you could try spraying the thing with WD40 but it might make ur car smell a bit :lol:

mine was seized.... just forced it to turn them some wd40

Think I'll attack it with WD40 and if that fails take a trip to the scrappy next weekend.

if you open the bonnet up the motor is under a plastic cover next to the battery
