hi people, is it pretty easy to do a mk2 facelift to a mk1? is it just a case of changing over the frontwings, headlights and indicators, and grill?
you will need:
2X wings
grille
Headlights
indicators

very straight forward, just swap over the above
some bumpers aswell, i'd change the bumper to a mk2, think they suit it more than mk1 bumpers :)

yeah well ill be getting aftermarket bumpers anyway. im trying to decide between kingdom type k front bumper, and the fusion front bumper (also known as KC bumper). any tips?
if you're intent on getting one of those two... i'd go for the fusion one...
the kingdom one is minging.... imo

ok cheers. ill see how many people vote on what! lets have a vote!!
Keep it mk1!!
what is it with all the mk1 torturers out there? there are PLENTY of mk2's knocking about, but hardly any mk1's.
Join the future generation, and keep the mk1. At least its getting unique!

if its show and no go (with a small engine due to funds) then Mk2 but with standard bumpers none of that kit crud, evil. If it has some go in it then mk1 because its subtle and people wont expect it
