i'm so close to fitting a 1.6, just need to find an insurer lol

but, how much is roadtax for a 1.6 ? as i know it goes into another band after 1586cc or something daft

yep 1600 is the high tax bracket. ?90.75 I think for 6 months

tax it before u send the logbook off

mines been taxed for 5 weeks as a 1.2i now... with 1.6i

ahh that's a good idea, but surely if they check your roadtax it will say 1.2, but the car WILL be definetly re-registered as a 1.6 !? isn't that fraud.

i guess i could get a years cheaper tax tho !

i'm waiting for the dvla to catch up with me... the postoffice said i couldn't tax the car at the higher rate with the 1.2i paperwork (v5 green slip)

If you get pulled and the cops find your paper works not in order,then you fcuked!! dont risk messing about over ?60 think if you get caught your looking a fines more then this,or bans,etc,etc!! Think first but it's your choice..

whos ot say u had not just done the coversion a month or so earlier but the car was already taxed :P
