View Full Version : what exhaust manifolds fit a valver?

Looking for a 4-branch exhaust manifold for a 20XE,
What fits?

IE Astra GTE/GSI, Cavalier GSi, Calibra GTE/GSI
Do any of the 8 valve engine's fit or any of the corsa 16 valves?

I thought a cut down astra MK2 GTE one was a good plan??

Otherwise ashely sell a 4-1 for the nova 2L

Whatever it comes off it needs cutting and welding to mate to the nova zaust.
Mine came off a cav gsi.

i have a cav GSI one an i havent cut the manifold down, i modified the exhaust instead

Its a 20XE as well so doesnt need a CAT, what system am i best off usin?

Ive got the GSI system but that's got a CAT, I think ive also got the 1.2 one. OR would I better off using an SR one or summit?

What are the bore sizes on the standard stuff?

nova upgraded system is the same bore as cav/astra standard

I came to the conclusion that it was better to mod the manifold rather than the exhaust,then any exhaust can be fitted without any mods in the future.
Remember to use stainless welding wire as the standard xe manifold in stainless.
Im running a moded cav gsi manifold and a magnex stainless off a nova gte.
