i cant for the life of me remember if a gsi lump will bolt onto an f10 gearbox!!!

only reason i wanna know is im doing a conversion and kent be assed taking the box out

dont think they are compatible. IIRC the flywheel is too big on the 1600. If I am wrong I dare say someone will correct me

cheers anyway mate thats what i thought, i think it fits if you use the 1L flywheel, but bugger that ill just slap me 1.4sr box in it

won't fit unless you change flywheel.... but then the starter won't reach the flywheel....

check the SR box anyway - many vaux boxes have been swopped and changed over the years so it aint neccesarily the original box

plus a 1.0 box wont fit any other engine anyway cos is got different mounting points ;)
