this might sound stupid but a mate bought a K&N bolt on for his nova, his is a 1.0trip mk2 but the actual filter is meant to fit a 2E3 carb.

So anychance of getting it on?

you can do what i did - i have a filter for the standard pierburg carb, and when i got my weber it didnt fit so i redrilled another hole in the top plate and put a false nut over the old hole..

If you don't want to mod the 2E3 filter, I have the K&N for the carb your mate has, its the same carb as on the early 1.3 SR models. I bought the filter and it got used for just under four months, its still shiny and the filter is nice and purple, you can have it for ?25 thats including postage. My SR died so I got a bigger engine, so filter not needed.

Mate as far as I know all 1.3 came with Pierbug 2e3. Very much doubt that on later models they decided to replace twin choke carb for something like weber 32TL (1.0L) or Pierbug 1b1(1.2L) both of which are a bit poo...

Was there are 1.3 SRi? :?
