........The only prob is i dont know what kit car they're off of-but do you think i could MAKE them fit?! Would it be possible or not really worth the hassel?

The reason i want to make them fit is because there's a bloke selling some spax coilovers, covered just over 100 miles and he wants ?195 for them :D

simple answer NO

complex answer, yes you could but it will cost more time and money than it would be to buy nova/corsa specific coil overs

Thought that might be the case  ?195 is a bargain though. I've been looking on the german ebay and you can buy a new set of coilovers for as little as 300 euros (about ?200)! They'll post to europe for 15 euros aswell-i think that might be what i go for-although i know absolutely NO german

fotze is a good one ;-) as is mushy (german equivs of the C word that ladies dont like)

if you can get good coilovers form germany then do it. i nearly started a little sideline while i was out there as the stuff was cheap (to us but not to them) and the demand here is good.

What do you think to these?

They are cheap but look okay and they're not going to be used for serious track days or anything. There are cheaper kits with coilover fronts and adjustable shocks on -60mm springs for the rear, but i'd prefer coilovers front and back.

So what do you think about the one's in the link?

Here's the link to the main page if you're interested

those look like they have some kinda adjuster that sits on the normal spring location on the nova rear beam and allows some adjustability?

that blue thing doesnt seem to be able to fit over the damper??

Yeah saw them, not bad for ?200 i thought. Do you mean the blue top on the front coilover? I think they're just not fully put together.
The lower upto 120mm at the front and 35mm-65mm at the back. Not too bad but it'd be good if the back went to -80mm.

Do you think they look alright? I'm thinking about getting them

i mean on the left hand side of the pic

it shows what look like standard nova rear springs with some kinda blue anodised insert

the rear dampers shown look like standard nova rear dampers

which would imply that the rear is simply a set of -65mm springs with that little insert used as an adjustable platform to raise the car up to -35mm again

Yeah i think that probably is the case. Worth considering though, you'd pay a lot more over here. Not sure how safe the rear adjuster thing would be though :o
