going for an F20 to start with with a quaiffe diff. May upgrade to the f28 at a later stage

pain to transfer diff from f20 to f28..... fit the f28 and diff and leave the power standard if thats all you can afford to do for now

the engine is having stage 1 EDS software, so hopefully should be around the 250bhp mark. Also a front mount intercooler. Not definately decided on the gearbox yet, keeping my options open on that front 8)

deffo need more than 3000. you said you still have to paint it, welding thatl cost over a grand, and an LET lump about 1000. quaife diffs are not cheap, intercooler and piping, rollcage.

i priced up aN LET for the valver rebuild its simple out of my budget for 4000 to do it properly!!b and thats with me doing all the welding and painting!

whats a rough figure for yours to date rick?

Dunno dont really care, its how i wanted it and thats all that really matters.

I look at it like this and always have done, do a job properly the first time and not bodge it over and over again. Fit a F28 from the start, its the only single thing i would advise you to do if your fitting a LET (other than the usual things like, suspension, brakes, fuel pump, cam belt + rollers, water pump, injector cleaning and big driveshafts). My mate is doing the welding, but will have to get the car painted! The three grand is meant to be covering the actual conversion and chassis work. I know its gonna be expensive tho, i aint gonna kid anyone! To complete the whole car im expecting it to be around the 5 grand figure!!

oh yeah, i have sourced a complete calibra turbo for ?500 boys so thats one less thing to worry about.

cheers for the help peeps
