I think you'll find that all 92 models had a cat,
Dont take my word for it though, you might find that it was dependant on the engine?
GSI's definately had a cat but come to think of it, i dont think the 1.2 did?

1.2i definately does have a cat (i have a 1.2i)
I think all the injection engines had a CAT. They are legally required from 1st August 1992.
My car is april 1992 8)
I tried the universal box yesterday and its pretty loud so i may leave the cat, save messing about.
Raver-How did you get your box supported cus you can't use the original rubber mount can you. Did you have to drill the boot floor and fit a bolt and bracket.
