i bet that there are quite a few people with more than one name registered to them even tho they only use one of them, i know i am certainly one of them, i joined up about 3 or so years ago and was occasional, then didnt use it till just a few months ago, only problem is that i cant remember what my old name was and certainly cant remember what the password would be!!! so i am missing a few hounded posts i think, but hay ho, was something like champ if that is anyhelp for you to delete it then there will only be 10 000 members

but how do you class a dormant account then mate? as if like my self there is some one out there thats finding it hard to cet constant use off the net!
then you have got rid of some one that was a user and it means they have to start up again...

maybe after like 1 year or summit they get sent an email asking if they want to keep there account going, if they reply then easy, if they dont reply within like a month or somthin like that there account gets canceled and we get some space back, and thats gotta speed NL up hasnt it, less users = less memory used. right???
not really. At the end of the day each user is just a record within the NLs database "User" table. Very little room used up there, as it is mainly text.
Simple normalisation of the database structure means that the minimum of space is used.

Like someone who hasn't posted in a month or so. Or even logged in. They would have an e-mail and pm etc. as warning.
