Full 256mm Disk Conversion

Just as I am thinking about doing the conversion, I have couple of questions.

Is it likely that with bigger disk and calipers it will lock the wheels more often then with standart brakes on?

If so how do I overcome this problem?

its all down to technique really. in the dry they are fine but they only tend to lock under heavy breaking in the wet or when you "panic" break, i.e stab the pedal when you emergency stop. just buy the best set of tyres you can afford on at least a 195 and you should be fine.

as long as you can teach yourself not to stab the pedal in those scary moments then its ok, i'm still learning, its difficult not to

they will lock up a hell of a lot more than the standard ones, in the wet you have to be careful, rather that than press the brakes an nothing happening
