2 novas made after 93

i was once told by a friend that was 2 novas made after they stopped making the novas. both was L reg. i jst wundered if my mate was rite or if he was talkin bollocks! n if any1 has heard about this or knows about it they shud share it with the rest of us lol

it kinda true i also heard the 2 figure in a magazine years ago when the featured a lime green l reg gsi

but since then i have seen quite a few of them even though they are rare ,
i believe most l reg are vans though :D and then someone will come on and say that they have seen a m reg one but i havent :(

not sure if they were made after '93

for them to be L -reg's they only have to be registered after '93

e.g. you could have a nova, that never been registered, then register it today and it will be and '04 plate

They were made 92-93 but just late registered and theres a lot more than 2!

There was a corsa for sale on ebay last week, it was K-reg with an L -reg nova parked up next to it.

Obviously i cant be clear on the year though.

when the old skool pic thread used to be up, the author (brinny is it? with the beamer) had a link to his site with a mahoosive nova gallery, there's an L reg, VW signal green GSi 2ltr turbo! its on the first or second page. got kosie seneka 17" wheels on an the owner repaired range rovers for a living.

one of the car's from august 98 fast car mag. ive even got the mag still!!

apparently there were only ever 5 L reg GSi's made? not sure tho?

the reg of the worlds first 2ltr turbo nova was 16V TRB or summit like that. (May or August 1991 it was made)

most where x show room cars, that where sold off after sitting in the car park when the corsa came out,
my mates dad had 1,
he got 4grand off the list price,cause it had been sitting there for about 5months, late L reg all it needed was a good rag to clean up the brakes

The most later plate regesterd nova's i have seen are normaly 1.2 merits or diesel vans,or sxi's...not seen a sri on a late plate like L,but have seen a gsi.

As cambridge said, WHO CARES, i think its been decided that they were not made but registered as L reg, Vauxhall/opel would not go to the expence of retooling the factory to build an obsolete car, not when they are selling a fairly decent number of its (crappy) replacement...

well i think that heritage motorcraft or what eva they are called that make new (old style) mini panels and shells should buy the old tooling from vauxhall and start remaking nova shells, without sunroofs because they are becoming more rare than a nun in a brothal...

I heard 30, and all were gsi's (bar the vans that is!) from an old copy of PNG mag (plus an article on fitting a B+ blydenstein head to a L-Reg gsi)

Sure this post has been put up lots already.

I've got an October 93 L reg GSi, my brother has a December 93 L reg GSi, know of a January 94 L reg Gsi, and seen another 2 Lreg GSi's round my way, so that's 5 just in West Yorkshire!

When i got mine, i did a bit of hunting, trying to find out how many gsi's were on an L and i was told 32, but how true this is...no idea.

My car was probably made in 92, but it's nice having it on an L, makes it that bit more special, would be even better if it was on a M!

ive seen about 30-40 L reg vans but i used to have to walk past some BT offices on my way to school.
