Digi dash question!!

I have recently insatlled an 8v digi dash into my mk 1.2 Nova, it seems to work fine, however i have noticed that the oil guage always reads the same, it always reads full, even when its not, coz i know when my car needs oil.

Could this be a wiring fault, was i supposed to connect the oil teltale or the oil pressure 1.

Any help considered

I dont think any 1.2's came with an oil pressure sender unit so it will always read full. You could get an oil pressure sender unit from a gsi and wire it up though

.........or just check your oil by opening the bonnet and having a look :lol:

the gauge doesnt tell you how much oil you have in your engine - it just tells you your oil pressure ,and 1.2 didnt come with a pressure sender so it wil always be on full pressure

as said just get asender unit from a sr or gte/gsi and fit that :D
