A Norwich Union complaint

i don't no if any one else has had this but i rang up Norwich Union yesterday expecting them to 'quote me happy' and i get put through to mascheef in India!
Ok i think to myself but then after 10 minutes of finding it very difficult to understand what the bloke is saying to me we're only half way through taking my details, it gets to 20 minutes and he finally gives me a quote over ?500 more than anywhere else!
Now is this normal or was it i jst had a complete chopper on the other end of the phone?

I have a Nova 1.5Td, no-no claims and 2 accidents. the cheapest is ?1145
TPF&T (Norwich Union ?1606 TPF&T)
does anyone know where i can try to get a really good quote?
i've done- CIS, HIC, BHP, Adrian flux, AA, Tesco's, N'U.

Norwich union certainly have not just quoted me happy. over 1200 on a 1.2 Merit+ which is only group 3. They havin a laugh here???

i wudnt recommend norwich union at all!!

i had a car crash in august, got my insurance money in november and they still havent closed the claim, which is pissing me off coz they wont send me my proof of no claims.

the guy i was in the accident with took responsibilty and didnt want to claim on my insurance!!

they wrote to his insurance company to see if he wanted to claim off myinsurance and didnt receive a reply, u wud have though that if they hadnt heardf from them in three months the claim wud have been closed but no they kep them open for 6 months, fucking rediculous!!

If you want cheap, do Elephant. If you want quality of service, do Admiral (they own Elephant). You'll end up paying a slight amount more, but you'll get a UK call centre.
