Literally my whole dash

Looks good i reckon, few imperfectities but on the whole its pretty good...

Did a load more interior bits the other day, so the whole interior is gonna have quite a black feel, with my black leather as well! 8O

All Purpose Spray Paint, yeah prepped it too

Did the scratch test like chucking keys on the dash, and it didnt scratch off

looks good - however word of warning...the mk2 dash it a vynal sponge backed material glued to a hardboard shell (as you know) - if you use standard spraypaint it will grack after a time.

Sounds like the scratch test held up but check a spongey area too...unless it was a spongey area you did - in which case nice one!

With vynal you really need to stain it - or use a flexible acrylic based paint. You can get a suitable dye from most motor shops...

I did this with my dash - bought the stuff from halfords - flexible vinyl paint, its about a tenner per can but one should be enough - they do a few colours too, good stuff
