is this illegal>> Number plates in window's

i was asking a freind en he was saying it was but i think he doesent know enouth him self this is why im asking you guys just courous so if i ever upgrade my kit i can do this ?

i got pulled for having the plate for the yellow sr in the back window, he said it was highly illegal. It might not be illegal but if your car is different from how it came out the factory then the police will find fault no matter if its wrong or not.

Im sure as long as it vissable and a leaga plate,plus the corect color for the front or back off car there is no real law on it,as long as it's shown.
It use to be as long as it was shown from the rear,but it has been changed.. but im sure the cops will say you need it lit up when using on the road from behinde..

i think there is a dimention in the mot that it has to be within... but i do know that it must be lit up at night

depends if its the front or the back, i drove mine for months with no frontplate and never got pulled. But the problem with the rear is that it must melit at night :wink:
