I've raced karts since I was 11, so thats how i got into it i guess, I raced karts at a really high level spending all of my parents spare cash!!! then went to college and did a BTEC Nat Dip on Motorsport Engineering... Then got a job fulltime nearly 2 and a half years ago playing with race cars as a job, its a pritty good job but the pay aint so good, motorsport is so glamourous!!! anyways my boss told me that i had to stop racing karts and get into cars... thats the short edited story!!!!
wahay,
I wouldn't really call it a hobby tho, its way more than that!!! bit like u an nova's a way of life not just a weekend hobby...
and this is the reason i wont go near motorsport as a job
my mate who has a BEng, Msc and PHD was working at williams for ?19K a year and doing about 80-90 hours a week 7 days a week, and having to book 4 weeks in advance for 2 days off!!! sod that
they think that the glamour of having a business card that has their name on it justifies ?10K a year or sensible workign hours?!
rant over lol
karting is fun, i went of rhte first time at the weekend. mmmmmmm D yes
I always thought People involved in motorsport was on mega Buck's.
Oh well :(
i want to get jack my little lad in to karting as soon as possible start him off on the right track

yeah and when he makes it into F1 your going to rob all his money
how old is jack epo ?? i beleave the kadets class starts at age 7
hes 4 in january
i was hoping he could start then
only way you can get him in a kart at 4 is to buy a kart from japan as they start them out at 3 in these tiny karts lol. buy one of them then take him to an earodrome or somefing
so is the youngest he can start 7
