Just replaced my pads on my 1.2i nova, and now when i put my foot on the brake you can hear a 'hiss' and also when you take your foot off the brake.
We have tested the brakes and they seem to be working fine for a new pair, so I am unsure if it is the servo or not?
I have taken my car out for a 10 mile run and it is still doing it.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks alot
Cathy :)

check servo by pumping brake pedal with engine off, then press and hold, start engine and it should drop - if it does servo is working
double check you bled brakes properly

are your new pads clearing the disc completly???
could the sound not be your new pads bedding in as there should be a bedding in period of 150-200 miles.
check the vacuum pipe is connected to the servo and the inlet manifold.
hope thats some help?
