mk2 grill

does anyone know the overall length of this item and the thickness of the bit that goes under the headlights???

ive fitted an abyss front bumper and got a gap between the lights and the bumper, so i thought i would see bout fitting a mk2 grill (mines a mk1) so just wonded if its gona fit.

if u have a mk1 car the mk2 grill wont fit goz the mounts a different and the will be a 15mm gap at the top, just cut the mk1 grill down to fit thats wot i did on my bro's nova

the grill aint the problem, the problem is that the bumper only comes up so far and that leaves a gap :( so is there anythingi can do???

MAKE it fit - when my standard front bumper left a nasty gap I removed the steel insert (weight reduction, stuck a jack under the bumper and raised it to the point where it was jacking the whole car up then drilled holes through the bumper and wings and bolted it all on. Worked a treat, no more gap!

lol, good idea, but afraid already tried something similar, didn't use a jack though, used 2 big blokes.lol. bu that didn't work, might try the jack idea tho.
