Waxoil is the brand. Its super stuff, but the car has to be clean underneath and be 100% dry before applying.

Other than waxoil there's brush on stuff, tetroseal (SP) is quite good too.

yeh nam waxoil is good stuff. i used sholts (i call it underseal) and paint mix as i wanted it to be black not the slightly brown colour underseal is.
you have to get ridd of all dirt and rust before you apply it. i also used a spray can just to do the harder to reach places.

get some waxoil and mix it with some red paint that would be smart!! 8)

Make sure as everyone has said theres no water or salt anywhere near it before applying.

Brush it on much easier and safer.

I have some comma rust stop type spray, and think its way better than waxoil. Thing with waxoil is that its quite thick - doesn't flow where you want it. But this spray i got (was from motorsavers up my local town, only place that sells it here) is a flower. It really gets into all the cracks better than waxil does (In my experience).

I used a tin of spray (?5 for 500ml?) for the box sections of my nova (repair work), and I have also used Kurust, but that is an absolute bugger to use, and it gets everywhere! (especially when underneath lol).

I will find the name of the spray for you later, as I cant remember exactly what it was called. But, one of those tin's will last quite a way (did with me anyway).

I have no idea why I wrote flower in that post

It's called "Comma wax seal". was ?5.69 for 500ml. As I said, would definately recommend it over waxoil anyday.

LOL...well its a "Corby" word (sorta) but it shouldnt have been used like that

Anyhoo. depends what you're doing? How much you want to spray. etc.

I used one tin to do two sides of spraying, and it was a LOT of spray that came out of the tin!

I guess you'd need two maximum tins, depending on how much you want to do, and of course, how "spray happy" you wanna be with it
